Umhausen (26th of June 2010). Once again the elite of natural track racers from Austria and Italy met in Umhausen, venue of the World Championships 2011, where they played an exciting football match. Winner of the match was Italy. The team won 2:1 over Austria.
End of June a team around Bruno Kammerlander, organizer of the World Championships 2011 in Umhausen, organized a football match. The Austrian and Italian natural track racers, coaches and functionaries came together and enjoyed a relaxed day. Particularly the Italy football team was overjoyed after they celebrated a victory over Austria. “In this traditional match, the Italian guys won traditional”, smiled Patrik Pigneter, goal scorer of the Italian team. He is already in the training preparation for the new season: “Since two months I am in training. Now the program focuses especially on endurance-, strength- and coordination units, but soon I´m starting with technique training too”. His goals for the new season? “The World Championships in Umhausen and the overall World Cup Single and Double!”
