Aileen Frisch

PyeongChang (RWH) Aileen Frisch, in 2013 “Under 23” World Champion for Germany, is going to make her first run for Korea. At the homologation process of the Olympic track in PyeongChang, Korea, the twenty-three-year-old Frisch has been nominated for Korea’s national luge team. An official request for a licence for Aileen Frisch has not arrived yet at the Office of the International Luge Federation (FIL).

At the 2013 World Championships of the International Luge Federation Aileen Frisch finished on 5th place and collected the gold medal in the “Under 23” world championships. She ended her career in 2015 due to lack of perspective. Earlier this year, it had become known that South Korea is seeking to naturalise the German-born luger in time for their home Winter Olympics in PyeongChang in 2018.
