Colton Clark and Kyla Graham new Canadian Champions

Whistler (RWH) A changing of the guard is unfolding on the nation’s luge tracks as Luge Canada crowned a new crop of Canadian champions in Whistler, B.C. New Champions are the 16-year-old Colton Clarke and Kyla Graham, who is just four years older. While the 2018 Olympians Alex Gough, Kimberley McRae, Sam Edney and Mitch Malyk did not compete, Tristan Walker-Justin Snith secured the title in doubles. Together with Alex Gough and Sam Edney, the pair won silver in the team event at the 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang (KOR).

Colton Clark sent Reid Watts, who finished on 12th place in PyeongChang, and Matt Riddle to second and third place. In women’s race Carolyn Maxwell and Brooke Apshkrum stood beside Kyla Graham on the podium as second and third.
