David Gleirscher Austria’s “Rising Star of the Year”

Vienna (RWH) Olympic Champion David Gleirscher has been awarded as Austria’s “Rising Star of the Year”. The election was hold by the Sports Media of Austria, the prize was handed over during a TV Show in Vienna. Gleirscher has won the Luge gold medal in men’s singles at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang (KOR).

Marcel Hirscher, two-time Olympic Champion in Alpine Skiingi, and Anna Gasser. 2018 gold medallist in Snowboard, became Austria‘s Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year. Hirscher won his fifth title, a new record number. Anna Gasser repeated her last year victory. The soccer team of RB Salzburg won the election for the “Team of the Year”
