Departing Secretary General Svein Romstad named honorary member

Bratislava (RWH) The departing Secretary General Svein Romstad has been appointed the role of honorary member. To conclude the 66th Congress of the International Luge Federation (FIL) in Bratislava (SVK), FIL President Josef Fendt honoured his long-term colleague with the title. “For the past 24 years, we have always enjoyed a close, trusting and friendly working relationship,” said Fendt, looking back over their time together. 

Fendt also read out a joint letter to Romstad from the Secretary Generals of the other six winter sports associations. “You have been a role model to us all,” the letter said. “We will definitely miss your wise words and unique sense of humour.”
