IOC presents Olympic torch to thank PyeongChang 2018 entrants

Bangkok (RWH) The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has presented an original Olympic torch to entrants to thank them for their part in the successful Winter Games in PyeongChang. IOC President Thomas Bach handed the symbolic gift to the winter sports associations at the SportAccord Convention in Bangkok, where the assembly of the Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (AIOWF) was also taking place.

Josef Fendt, President of the International Luge Federation (FIL), explained that the torch would eventually take pride of place in the FIL Museum, which is currently under construction.
