ITA Webinar March 24 - Whereabouts

Berchtesgaden (FIL/15. Mrz. 2024) The International Testing Agency (ITA) will hold its monthly anti-doping webinar in March 2024 on the topic of "Whereabouts - answers to all your questions".

This webinar will take place on Monday, March 25, from 14:00 to 15:00 CET and is intended to provide important insights into the obligations of athletes who belong to a Registered Pool or a Testing Pool.

Understanding the implications of being part of a testing pool is crucial for athletes. This webinar is tailored to provide clarity on this topic. With expert guidance, participants will gain valuable knowledge about their obligations and have their pressing questions about submitting whereabouts information answered.

Panelists for this session include:

Tracey Lambrechs, Rio 2016 Olympian and Commonwealth Games weightlifting medalist.

Kate Hovrjaka, ITA Athlete Support Officer.

The discussion will be moderated by Mairi Irvine from the ITA education team.

Athletes and stakeholders are asked to submit their whereabouts questions prior to the session. The ITA team will endeavor to cover as many topics as possible during this live event. Questions can be submitted via the registration page until Monday, March 18.

As part of the commitment to inclusion, the webinar will be held in English, with simultaneous translation available in four other languages: Arabic, Spanish, French and Russian.
