Berchtesgaden (FIL/02 May 2024) The German team secured victory in the Team Relay at the 52nd FIL World Championships 2024 in Altenberg as well as in the Overall World Cup.

A novelty in the EBERSPAECHER Team Relay World Cup presented by BMW and also at the European and World Championships were the women's doubles in the teams. A quartet in the relay became a sextet in 2023/2024. Three female and three male lugers now form a relay team.

Germany's team has proven it: They can also do it with the women's doubles.

The sextet of Julia Taubitz, Tobias Wendl/Tobias Arlt, Max Langenhan and Dajana Eitberger/Saskia Schirmer won the World Championship title at the 52nd World Championships in Altenberg. It was the tenth title of twelve decisions in the World Team Championships so far.
