Park City (pps) At the season’s second stop of the Junior World Cup series in Park City in the US State of Utah, the young luge talents of host USA again dominated the event. In the women’s singles, Emily Sweeney and Kate Hansen repeated their double success from the season’s start.

This time however, it was Germany’s Aileen Frisch who took third place behind Emily Sweeney, who competed in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, and Kate Hansen, 2008 Junior World champion. The young German luger thus prevented a clean podium sweep of the host team as Summer Britcher finished in fourth position.

In the men’s singles, Germany’s Chris Eisler celebrated his second victory this season, again ahead of Italy’s Emanuel Rieder. Third place this time went to Georg Reumschuessel of Germany.
