| Successful meetings of the FIL Expert Commissions in St. Leonhard near Salzburg | |
St. Leonhard (pps) Successful meetings of the Expert Commissions of the International Luge Federation (FIL): The productive symposium in St. Leonhard near Salzburg (Austria) on April 14-15 served as a last preparation for the upcoming 60th FIL Congress in Riga.
Two months ahead of the annual meeting (June 15-16, 2012) of the International Luge Federation in Latvia’s capital, the Sport and Technical Commissions for both artificial and natural track luge discussed numerous changes of the International Luge Regulations (IRO).
In the presence of FIL President Josef Fendt of Germany, all FIL Vice Presidents an all Commission Chairman about 100 motions were discussed. Motions that receive a two-thirds majority in the Commissions can be submitted to the Congress.
