| Continental Championships to become an annual fixture in the Viessmann Luge World Cup series | |
Riga (pps) With immediate effect, the Continental Championships Artificial Track of the International Luge Federation, FIL, will be carried out annually as a so-called “race in race” competition within the Viessmann Luge World Cup series. This decision was made by the 60th FIL Congress in Riga, Latvia.
In the upcoming winter season, Oberhof will host the 44th FIL European Championships (January 12-13, 2013). Lake Placid (February 08-09, 2013) in the US State of New York will be the venue of the 2nd FIL American-Pacific Championships.
