The International Luge Regulations (IRO) include the regulations for an orderly staging of all competitions of the sport of luge including championships and international FIL competitions. It is also valid for the luge competitions during Olympic Winter Games.

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the International Luge Federation has published a three-volume book set on FIL history, statistics and memorabilia.
The book can be purchsed through the publishing house Egon Theiner Verlag.

:: Donation account for Mizoguchi

The International Luge Federation has opened a donation account for the Brazilian athlete Renato Mizoguchi who seriously crashed on the Olympic luge track in Torino on January 30, 2005. After his crash, Renato had to end his luge career. His health, which has not yet completely restored, has also resulted in financial problems for him.
