Berlin (pps) Similar to the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, USA, again 110 participants in the luge competitions will be eligible at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Torino, Italy. The International Olympic Committee confirmed this quota for the International Luge Federation, FIL. Thus, 40 men, 30 women and 20 doubles will participate in Olympic luge events in Torino.
