Quotes:
Sylke Otto (Olympic Champion): „It was a good feeling coming back to the place of my Olympic success. I keep having the pictures with all the spectators in my mind. We never think about our winning series, we only want to win each race.”
Silke Kraushaar (defending World Cup Champion): „The track was not so good as at the Olympics, but due to the weather conditions good. I`m glad to continue this season like I did last year. During training sessions it doesn`t look like we can celebrate such a success.“
Barbara Niedernhuber (Olympic Silver medallist): „Now I have a first result to keep me staying in the team. The 4th German luge girl is always in danger to be thrown out of the World Cup because we have so many good girls. I only finished building my sled last week and it works really well.”
