Altenberg (pps) Germany`s Olympic Champion from 1998 in Nagano has won the second race of the season 2003-03 in Altenberg (Germany). On tenth place after the first run the winner of the season`s opener improved in the second run to top position. She clocked in one minute 49,333 minutes and celebrated her 23rd victory in World Cup. Second place went to Sylke Otto (1:49,465) and third place to Barbara Niedernhuber (both Germany).
USA`s Brenna Margol finisehd on 12th place in one minute 49,950 seconds, but realized second best time in second run.
