Berchtesgaden (pps) The International Luge Federation FIL agreed with the request
of the German Bobsleigh and Luge Federation to stage the 2004 European Luge
Championships at Oberhof instead of Koenigssee. The artificial track at Koenigssee
will host the so-called “super World Championships” in bobsleigh (men’s two-man
and four-man and women’s bob) and skeleton (men and women) in 2004. Because
of this great challenge the Bobsleigh and Luge Federation for Germany, BSD, suggested
the change to Oberhof.
