Cesana-Pariol (pps) At the 22nd Junior World Championships of the International Luge Federation (FIL) titleholder Natalie Geisenberger (GER) won once again. The title in the doubles competition went to Toni Eggert/Marcel Oster (GER).
On Friday the German Team in then line-up with Natalie Geisenberger, Felix Loch and Eggert/Oster picked up Gold in the team compeption. Silver went to the US-Team (Megan Sweeney, Chris Mazdzer und Chris Mazdzer/Jayson Terdimann) followed by Latvia (Kristpas Marins/Agnese Koklaca and Oskars Dudramovics/Peters Kalnins).
Natalie Geisenberger won in a total time of one minute 44.943 seconds followed by her team-mates Steffi Sieger (1:45.068) and Lisa Liebert (1:45,449). Forth place went to Megan Sweeney (1:45,819) from USA.
In doubles Eggert/Oster won in a total time of one minute 55.239 seconds followed by Tobias Wendl/Tobias Arlt (1:55.656). The Bronze Medal went to Chris Mazdzer/Jayson from USA.
