Austria`s former World Champion Prock (50.112 seconds) took a lead of only on thousandth of a second in front of Germany`s three time Olympic Champion Georg Hackl (50.113). Third place went to Italy`s World Champion Armin Zöggeler (50.127).Once again, there were three women from Germany on the top. World Champion Sylke Otto won in a time of 48.147 seconds in front of Olympic Champion Silke Kraushaar (48.464) and Barbara Niedernhuber (48.485).In the doubles competition Germany`s World Champions Andre Florschütz/ Torsten Wustlich (47.792 seconds) were in the lead followed by Austria`s Tobias and Markus Schiegl (47.835) and Mark Grimmette/ Brian Martin (47.929) from the USA.Statements:Markus Prock(Austria), three-time World Champion:"This was a very tough race.
