Team Relay ranks fifth in the ARD ratings
Munich (pps) The International Luge Federation’s (FIL) Team Relay achieved excellent television ratings in Germany at the conclusion of the season. 3.53 million viewers followed the coverage on ARD of the competitions at the 43rd FIL European Championships in Paramonovo, Russia.
The market share of 19.7% lifted the broadcast to fifth place within the whole ARD schedule. In the area of sport, only the ski flying World Championships placed higher. The broadcasts from other disciplines (Nordic combination, Alpine skiing, and the four-man bobsleigh World Championships) ranked lower than the Team Relay.
