Calgary (FIL) On the occasion of a reception hosted by the Canadian Luge Association, which was held at the historic site of Fort Calgary, the International Luge Federation (FIL) honored three deserved officials of the 1988 Olympic Winter Games. FIL President Josef Fendt awarded the FIL’s silver medal of honor to Doug Hansen, at that time race chairman, Roger Eddy, who was race director 20 years ago, and Denis Kadatz, the longtime director of CODA.
