FIL President Josef Fendt confirmed in his office for the fourth time

Sochi (pps) Josef Fendt has been confirmed in his office as President of the International Luge Federation (FIL) for the fourth time. At the 58th FIL Congress in Sochi, Russia, the 62 year-old German was re-elected by acclamation by the delegates from 32 member federations. Secretary General Svein Romstad (USA) and Vice-President for Finance Harald Steyrer (AUT) were also re-elected unanimously, as well as Einars Fogelis (LAT) as Vice-President for Technical Affairs and Claire DelNegro (USA) as Vice-President Sport. In natural track luge, Herbert Wurzer (AUT) was elected as Vice-President Sport and successor to Werner Kropsch, who had passed away this spring. Alfred Jud was re-elected as Vice-President for Technical Affairs (natural track).
