Oberhof (pps) Even without Sylke Otto, who retired Friday, Germany’s luge girls are unbeatable. Silke Kraushaar, the Olympic champion 1998 at Nagano, won in a total time of 1:27,568 Minute at the Viessmann Luge World cup on her home track at Oberhof. It was her 5th victory in the season, her 33rd of her carrier.
Second place went to Tatjana Hüfner (1.27, 861) followed by Corinna Martini (1:28,120), who celebrated a perfect premiere at the Viessmann Luge World Cup.
USA’ Ashley Hayden and Courtney Zablocki finished on 6th and 7th place. Canada’s Regan Lauscher came in on 12th place.
