Calgary (pps) Canada’s Regan Lauscher has already taken up training after undergoing an operation on both shoulders in May. The 28 year old athlete, who was 10th at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin (ITA), can slide again, but she cannot perform starts yet. In the 2004/2005 season, Lauscher achieved Canada’s best World Cup result ever when she captured the silver medal at the Viessmann World Cup in Lake Placid (USA).

This week, a screw will be removed from Chris Moffat’s wrist, which had been inserted for stabilization after a fracture. However, the 29 year old Moffat, who finished 10th at the 2008 World Championships in Oberhof in doubles together with his three year younger brother Mike, was able to do some training even before the removal of the screw.
