Alex Gough, Tucker West and Hyrns-Espinoza winners of Nationscup

 Lake Placid (RWH) Canada’s Alex Gough, local hero Tucker West and the double Jacob Hyrns-Anthony Espinoza are the winners of the Nationscup. The Nationscup is the qualifying race for the Viessmann World Cup this Friday and Saturday in Lake Placid, New York.

 The women’s race was won by Alex Gough, 2011 and 2013 bronze Medallist of the World Championships, followed by Raychel Germaine (USA) and Ulla Zirne from Latvia. Tucker West, owner of the track record in Lake Placid, banned his team-mate Taylor Morris to second place. Italy’s Kevin Fischnaller finished on third place. In double’s race Hyrns-Espinoza relegated Florian Gruber/Simon Kainzwaldner from Italy and her team-mates Justin Krewson/Andrew Sherk to second and third place.
