Second Place to David Möller followed by Felix Loch
Altenberg (pps) Two weeks before the World Championships in Lake Placid (USA) Armin Zöggeler (ITA) demonstrated his strength. The two-time Olympic Champion won the Viessmann World Cup at Altenberg, celebrated his 8th victory there and his 44th altogether. The five-time World Champion finished in one minute 50,344 seconds followed by Germany’s Felix Loch (0,183 seconds back) and David Möller (0,192 back). Germany’s men still wait for their first success ever at Altenberg.
In the overall standings Zöggeler increased his advantage with now 601 points. Second Place has David Möller (525) followed by his team-mate Jan Eichhorn (430).
Canada’s Sam Edney (1,217 seconds back) finished on 13th place. Bengt Walden (1,352 back) from USA made the 15th place.
