Quotes:

Armin Zöggeler (ITA / World Champion 1995, 1999, 2001, 2003 und 2005, Olympic Champion 2002)
„I’m not tired winning titles and medals. I have had a lot of ups and downs this sea-son. Today I was in a really good shape. I only recognized the mistakes of Benshoof and Demtschenko in the background since I was concentrating on my own run. “

Georg Hackl (GER / World Champion 1989, 1991 and 1997 and Olympic Champion 1992, 1994 and 1998)
„This was my last Worlds – probably. I didn’t expect to win a medal, because in train-ing my expectation has not been so great. The other competitors, especially Albert Demtschenko have been very stable. Now I’m very happy with silver. “

David Möller (World Champion 2004 and Bronze Medallist 2005)
„I’m very happy with this bronze medal. I have had a lot of ups and downs this sea-son. After the second run I never expected a medal, because I have not been able to beat Georg Hackl. “
