Innsbruck (RWH) Austria’s luge team is still suffering injuries. Last weekend at the season’s finale of the Viessmann Luge World Cup in Königssee, Germany, Yannick Müller incurs a rupture of the radius arm of his left hand. This was published by the Austrian federation in Innsbruck. Together with his teammate Armin Frauscher, the new pair reached excellent results in their first season in doubles competition.

Before this accident, his teammate Thomas Steu had broken his left tibia and fibula in a crash during training in Sigulda. Steu and his partner Lorenz Koller won World Championship bronze in 2019, along with World Championship silver for Austria in the team relay.
