Obdach (PMA) Austrian Michael Scheikl is the winner of Mens fourth GRM Group Luge World Cup at Obdach-Winterleiten. He is celebrating his second career victory. As in 2009, Scheikl wins in front of his home crowd. Second place went to World Champion and World Cup Leader Patrick Pigneter (ITA). Third place went again to Austria and local hero Thomas Schopf. The Austrian scores a podium on his home track. He finished one hundredth ahead of Alex Gruber (ITA). Fifth place went to Thomas Kammerlander (AUT). Ladies race was won by new World Champion Evelin Lanthaler. The Italian landed her third career victory. Second place went to Ekaterina Lavrentyeva (RUS) who defended her World Cup leading position. After three wins Lavrentyeva has to put up with a second place this season. Austrian Tina Unterberger finished on third place. Forth and fifth place went to Italy and Sara Bachmann and Greta Pinggera. Junior World Cup victories at Obdach-Winterleiten went to Alexandra Pfattner (ITA) and Thomas Unterholzner (ITA).
