BMW Sprint World Cup enters its third season

Winterberg (RWH)  Following the prestigious world première of the sprint competition in January 2016 as part of the 46th International Luge Federation (FIL) World Championships on the artificial track in Königssee, the BMW Sprint Cup is set to start its third season. The ice track in Winterberg will play host to the main events in the men’s and women’s singles and the doubles events from 13:00 on Sunday 27 November 2016. Following a resolution passed at the FIL Congress in summer 2016, the sprint competition is now classed as an integral part of the FIL World Championships.
