Morris and Voskresensky shared top time in Nation’s Cup Calgary (pps) While Taylor Morris (USA) and Evgeniy Voskresensky shared the top time in the Nation’s Cup at Calgary Tonga’s Bruno Banani celebrated his biggest success.

The athlete from Tonga qualified for first ever Viessmann Luge World cup finishing in 18th place. Two years ago Bruno Banani has made his debut in Luge on the Olympic track in Calgary. He was 2.347 seconds behind the winners, who clocked exactly the same time. Third place went to Germany’s Ralf Palik.

Italy’s Sandra Gasparini won the Women’s race followed by Emily Sweeney from U.S.A. and Canada’s Kim McRae. In double’s race Germany’s Ronny Pietrasik/Christian Weise captured the victory. Second and third place went to the twa US-Teams Christian Niccum/Jayson Terdiman and Jacob Hyrns/Andrew Sherk.
