Swiss association renamed Swiss Sliding
Zürich (pps) After a difficult year of transition and a period of interim management the Swiss bobsleigh, luge and skeleton association (SBSV) has a new committee. Christian Meili (48), formerly a successful bobsleigh pilot who has a deep-seated knowledge of the field, was elected President of the association by the Assembly of Representatives on 18 July. At the meeting, the representatives also decided at the suggestion of its athletes to mark this new era in the association’s history with a new name: Swiss Sliding.
