Quotes Tobias Wendl (GER / 2013 World Champion, overall Viessmann Luge World Cup winner 2010-2011, 2012-2013 and 2013-2014)

“That’s a really positive end to a successful World Cup season. In each of the past World Cup events we’ve specifically prepared for the Olympic Games and we are very much looking forward to our first start at the Games. Right from the first test event on the track in Sochi we liked it. The track has a nice rhythm.”

Sascha Benecken (GER / 2013 European Champion, runner-up at the 2012 and 2013 World Championships)

“In the end it’s always the team that makes the least mistakes to claim the victory – once again Wendl-Arlt.”

Peter Penz (AUT / WM-Dritte 2012)

"Two years ago we claimed the bronze medal at the World Championships here in Altenberg. We like the track. Including our podium finish in Igls, this is the fourth time we’ve achieved a podium result.”
