Calgary (pps) The Nations Cup at the Viessmann Luge World Cup at Calgary ended with a clean sweep in the men’s race. Jeff Christie won in 45.380 seconds followed by Sam Edney (45.429) and Matt McMurray (45.53). Both Andi Langenhan (GER), who clocked the best time, and Austria’s Manuel Pfister were disqualified due to overweight.

The winner of the women’s race was Maija Tiruma (47.514) from Latvia followed by Austria’s Veronika Halder (47.539) and Erin Hamlin (47.540) from USA. In the double’s race the winners are Germany’s Andre Florschütz/Torsten Wustlich (44.157). Second place went to their team-mates Tobias Wendl/Tobias Arlt (44.238) followed by Austria’s Penz/Fischler (44.429).
