After a one-year break, Deutschnofen/Nova Ponente (ITA) is returning to the FIL Luge World Cup on natural track. On the fourth stage on January 29th and 30th, a total of four races on the "Pföslriep"-track are on the agenda.

The 785 meter long "Pföslriep"-track has repeatedly been the scene of exciting competitions in the past. At the last World Cup on January 26, 2020, Thomas Kammerlander (AUT) was only third after the first run, with the best time in the second run, the Tyrolean celebrated his first victory in Deutschnofen. At the same time it was the first victory of an Austrian in men’s singles in Deutschnofen. Record winner on the spectacular track is local hero Alex Gruber (ITA) with five (!) victories in a row in the years 2015/16/17/18/19.
