A draft of the racing calendar for the 2023/2024 season has already been drawn up. The highlights will be the 2024 European Championships in Jaufental/Val Giovo (ITA) and the 2024 Junior World Championships in Winterleiten (AUT). The start of the FIL World Cup in natural track luge is scheduled for December 2023 in Kühtai (AUT). The calendar still has to be approved by the FIL Executive, after which it will be published.

In addition, the commission decided to make an adjustment to the material: the permitted edge of stealths was increased from 0.06 mm to 0.9 mm for safety reasons in order to make the handling of the luge easier.
