Oberhof (pps) Courtney Zablocki from USA and Germany’s Tobias Wendl/Tobias Arlt
are the winners of the nations Cup at Oberhof. Due to bad weather conditions the men’s race was cancelled and postponed. The race will now start on Friday.
Courtney Zablocki, who finished on 4th place at the winter games at Turin, won with the new track record of 44,694 seconds followed by Poland’s Ewelina Staszulonek (44,849) and Germany’s Corinna Martini (44,893).
Wendl/Arlt, last season Gold Medallists at the juniors World Championships, captured the victory with new track record (44,937), too. Second Place went to latvia’s Andris Sics/Juris Sics (45,102) followed by Canada’s Chris Moffat/Mike Moffat (45,201).
