Sigulda (pps) Jacob Hyrns/Andrew Sherk prevented at the first Junior’s World Cup of the season in Sigulda (Latvia) the triple victory of the Russian team. The young Americans won ahead of the two Russian teams with Alexandr Denisjev/Vladislav Antonov und Andrey Bogdanob/Andrey Medvedev.

The women’s race saw Ekatarina Baturina in front followed by her team-mate Svetlana Tiunova, Third place went to Austria’s Mona Wabnigg. Winner of the men’s race was Aleksandr Peretjagin (RUS) followed by Georg Reumschüssel and Julian von Schleinitz, both from Germany.
