The European Champions with their first season's victory and the fifteenth World Cup victory altogether in a total time of one minute 28,597 seconds banned their teammates Gerhard Plankensteiner/Oswald Haselrieder (one minute 28,805 seconds) to rank two. For the World Champions of 2009 it was the best result of the season. Germany’s Olympic Champions of 2002 Patric Leitner/ Alexander Resch (one minute 28,990 seconds) finished third.
In overall standings, Germany’s three times World Champions Andre Florschütz/Torsten Wustlich, in Winterberg on rank 12, tightly defended their lead with now 442 points, followed by Oberstolz/Gruber (ITA, 440) and Leitner/Resch (GER, 430).
