Dr Jörg Ellermeyer remains Chairman of the Medical Commission

Berchtesgaden (RWH): Dr Jörg Ellermeyer was re-elected as Chairman of the Medical Commission at its most recent meeting, which took place in Berchtesgaden earlier in the year.

Prior to that, Dr Eugene Byrne was nominated as the Medical Doctor for Anti-Doping Matters by the International Luge Federation’s (FIL) Executive Board. The US-based doctor will therefore be responsible for all work related to anti-doping on the FIL’s Medical Commission.

In addition to Dr Byrne and Dr Jörg Ellermeyer (GER), the commission is also made up of Dr Zane Kruse (LAT), Dr Alex Mitterhofer (ITA), Dr Lutz Kistenmacher (GER) and Dr Ruslan Simashvili (RUS).
