Eberspächer marks 15 years as FIL sponsor

Eberspächer

Innsbruck-Igls (RWH) Eberspächer has been a sponsor of the International Luge Federation (FIL) for 15 years. It therefore only seems to fit to honour the occasion. At the Viessmann World Cup race in Innsbruck, Martin Peters, the company’s managing partner, will receive an original World Cup trophy manufactured by Joska, presented by the FIL’s President Josef Fendt. It has been announced that the ceremony will also be attended by Dr Karl Stoss, President of the Austrian Olympic Committee (ÖOC) and Member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Eberspächer, whose history stretches back over 150 years, is visible on all perimeter advertising boards at the international sporting body’s World Cup events. This year Eberspächer had around 70 branches in 28 countries. The arrival of Martin Peters marked the fifth generation to lead the family-run company.

Progress in the automotive industry is Eberspächer’s ultimate goal. With its products, it is making an active contribution to more environmental protection, more safety and more comfort in road traffic. “Despite current dynamic technological and commercial developments, customers, employees and business partners can trust that some things won’t change. They can count on the long-standing and consistent practices and policies of a family business and a company culture of values that has grown and developed in 150 years,” is how the company describes its own values.

Eberspächer auxiliary heating systems can be found in countless cars, lorries, specialist vehicles, mobile homes and boats all over the world. Manufacturers install the fuel-powered heaters as standard equipment or optional extras in their own factories
