Torgelow (pps) Eberspächer continues to be a sponsor of the sport of luge. The world’s leading manufacturer of pre- and auxiliary heaters for all kinds of vehicles has renewed its contract with the agency RGS running up to 2008 before maturity for another two years until 2010.

With this early extension of the contract, Eberspächer, since the 2001/2002 season one of the main sponsors of the International Luge Federation (FIL), is underlining the company’s trust and its contentment with the cooperation.

The Eberspächer Heizgeräte GmbH is a subcompany of the global player Eberspächer, which is one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers in two areas: exhaust technology and pre- and auxiliary heaters for all kinds of vehicles including passenger cars, transporters, trucks, busses, construction site vehicles or yachts.

The location Torgelow plays a significant role in the comprehensive range of services offered for car manufacturers, wholesalers, workshops and end customers: There, an important distribution and service center for a manifold product range is operated; custom-made solutions for optimum installation of Eberspächer heating systems are developed; the entire guarantee handling of the company Eberspächer is done; professional consultation is provided to thousands of Eberspächer customers through a modern call center.

The number of employees has more than doubled between 1998 and 2006. At the beginning of 2006, a state-of-the-art new logistics center was opened. The company aims at continuing this success story in the future as well – with innovative concepts, high-performance technologies and competent, committed employees.
