Berchtesgaden (pps) As stated in the statutes of the International Luge Federation (FIL), new FIL athletes’ representatives will be elected in the post-Olympic season. Candidates can be proposed until the end of the year (deadline: December 31, 2006). Elections will be held on the occasion of the FIL World Championships 2007 in Igls, Austria (artificial track) and Grande Prairie, Canada (natural track).

Current FIL athletes’ representative are Mark Hatton (GBR) and Brian Martin (USA) for artificial track luge and Gerhard Pilz (AUT) and Marcus Grausam (GER) for natural track luge.
