Emily Sweeny, Ralf Palik and Denisev/Antonow winners of

Nationscup

Winterberg (RWH) Emily Sweeney (USA), Ralf Palik (GER) and Russia’s Aleksandr Denisev/Vladislav Antonov are the winners of the Nationscup. In the qualification round for the Viessmann Luge World cup this weekend the pair of Russia sent Wojciech Chmielewski/Jakub Kowalewski from Poland to second place. Third place went to Latvia’s Oscars Gudramovics/Peteris Kalnins.

Emily Sweeney, who missed a Medal by finishing fourth at the Sprint World Championships at Innsbruck, won in front of Sandra Robatscher from Italy and her team-mate Summer Britcher. Ralf Palik, 2016 Silver medallist at the World Championships at Königssee (GER), was followed by Chris Mazdzer (USA) and Austria’s Nico Gleirscher.
