The women’s singles on Saturday reached a market share of 12 percent, in doubles - with the victory of local heroes Peter Penz-Georg Fischler - the viewing share even increased to 18 percent. In Germany, about 1.76 million spectators followed the men’s singles race, which translated into a tenth place on Sunday’s in-house ARD ranking.
