European Championship Opening Ceremony as Movie Night at the Metropol Cinema in Innsbruck

Innsbruck (09 Jan 2024) The FIL and the ÖRV have come up with something special for this year's opening ceremony: They are jointly inviting all accredited athletes, coaches, support staff and media representatives to a Movie Night at the Metropol Cinema in Innsbruck.

The get-together starts at 7 pm while the bibs for the top 6 athletes for the World Cup are drawn at 7:45. From 8 pm there will be the exclusive film premiere of “Next Goal Wins”, a Disney production that will captivate everyone with its entertaining plot and inspiring message. It's a movie about soccer, underdogs, passion and victories. The screening will be in the original English version. There will be networking and interview opportunities before and after the screening. No helmets, no racing suits - just the people behind the sleds sharing their passion for the luge sport.
