Berchtesgaden (pps) Luge athletes from all continents will be eligible to start at the European Luge Championships in Winterberg from January 20 to 22, 2006. Title as well as medals in the disciplines women’s singles, men’s singles, doubles and team can only be won by Europeans, however. This information was now issued by the International Luge Federation (FIL). Should non-European athletes finish first, second or third, they will be awarded prizes of honor. In addition, there will be two result lists: the official results of the European Championships as well as an overall list.
