Cesana (pps) Last winter, the artificial track in Cesana, Italy, organised no stop of the Viessmann Luge World Cup series, but European Championships. The winners then were Natalie Geisenberger (GER), Armin Zoeggeler and Christian Oberstolz-Patrick Gruber (all ITA). Latvia surprisingly earned the title in the team relay.
To date Cesana has organised two events of the Viessmann Luge World Cup (20005-2006 and 2006-2007), the luge events of the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Torino as well as the FIL European Championships last year. Armin Zoeggeler won all four events.
