Sonneberg (pps) The former World Champion David Möller is going back to his roots. The bronze medalist at the 2005 World Championships has decided to compete for his local club RRV Sonneberg/Schalkau (GER) again. Before, the 23 years old policeman at the German Federal Border Police (BGS) raced for BSR Rennsteig Oberhof (also GER).
With this, Möller continues a trend that is also occurring in biathlon. Numerous world class athletes in biathlon such as Olympic champion Andrea Henkel have gone back to their home clubs as well.
