Oberhof (pps) TV ratings were excellent for the 40th FIL Luge World Championships in Oberhof. Approximately 3.21 million spectators followed the FIL Team Relay event on the German public TV station ZDF. This translates into a market share of 17.6 per-cent. An average of 2.09 million viewers - this is a market share of even 18.2 per-cent - saw the decision in the double-seater with a “double” for two German teams with André Florschuetz-Torsten Wustlich and Tobias Wendl-Tobias Arlt. The men’s singles with Felix Loch of Germany as the youngest World champion of all times attracted an average of two million viewers. This corresponds to a market share of 17.4 per-cent.
