Berchtesgaden (pps) An extensive workload expects the Executive Board of the International Luge Federation (FIL) at its fall meeting in Liwadija, which is located on the Crimea peninsula in the Ukraine, between September 21 and 24. The meeting will focus on the new talents campaign, which FIL President Josef Fendt from Berchtesgaden had already announced in June after his unanimous re-election at the FIL Congress in his home town.

The agenda comprises numerous resolutions, which will set the course for the post-Olympic season. Furthermore, several experts in addition to the Commissions members elected at the Congress will be appointed to the Sports and Technical Commissions artificial and natural track. Further items on the agenda include the preparations for the jubilee Congress of the FIL scheduled for next year as well as the 2007 elections of athletes’ representatives.
